The much delayed and over budget Crossrail project now has a new completion date: sometime in the six months between October 2020 and March 2021. Crossrail Ltd has identified and rescheduled more than 100,000 interdependent tasks in setting the new completion goal, after much criticism of the project's former management. The tasks will generally cover signaling software, completion and testing of equipment in the tunnels and stations, and trial train operations.
