Swedish national operator SJ has begun the national rollout of Hök Instrument's Sesame Vonnecy system for the automated daily alcohol testing of safety-critical employees. Staff identify themselves using their ID card, then breathe gently towards the sensor inlet of the machine, with which they do not need to come into contact. A user can be tested every 10 seconds, with a detailed report sent to management systems if alcohol is detected.
